Thursday 7th July 2022

Todays conference looked at three areas: support for those left behind following suicide, mindfulness support and care in general in our community and the development of the Old Chancel in Rugeley. Thank you to everyone contributing to our second Community Conference.  Following on from the success of our online sessions held in May this year, this conference looked at all things tourism.  Discussions included looking at accommodation provision locally, what local destinations were on offer, the Neighbourhood Plan and the future of tourism.

Wednesday 5th May 2021

Rugeley Town Council hosted our first #RugeleyCommunityConference on Wednesday 5th May 2021.  The aim of the day was to allow everyone to take part in local debates and presentations on matters that are important to local people.

 

Throughout the day we hosted a number of Zoom meetings which, whilst being broadcast live via the Town Councils Facebook page, allowed for live time comments and responses to issues. Local residents / schools joined in the debate direct by joining the meetings. See below for the notes from each of the sessions:
