Catching up with Western Springs Illinois!

In the late 1950’s, Rugeley took part in a Global effort to strengthen international peace and understanding, and was twinned with the town of Western Springs in Cook County, Illinois – a suburb of Chicago.  Western Springs is of a comparable size to Rugeley.

We have invited the Town’s President – Alice Gallagher and their community to join us virtually for the demolition of our iconic Cooling Towers on Sunday, time difference allowing, to share this historic event with us.
