Rugeley Town Council donate £5,000 to The Hart School to produce face shields.

Rugeley Town Council are proud to announce that at Finance and Management Committee last week, it was agreed to donate £5,000 to The Hart School, Rugeley to help them manufacture face shields. The donation has enabled provision of these face shields to the following organisations in Rugeley:

• All care homes
• All GP Surgeries
• District Nurses,
• Many local residents working in the following hospitals; Birmingham’s Children Hospital, Good Hope, Walsall Manor, New Cross Hospital, Stoke Royal and County to name a few!
• Local Businesses who have contacted us directly.

Part of the donation has also supported the school to take the product into industry for mass production and the school now have a new target of 25,000 shields as they are still receiving many requests for shields.
