ENGIE - a leading energy, services and regeneration company - is committed to working closely with the local community to develop proposals for the former Power Station site and has appointed architects JTP to facilitate the Community Planning process. One of the outcomes from the Rugeley Power Station Community Planning Weekend held 30 November – 4 December last year was the community’s desire to continue to be involved in shaping the proposals for the Power Station and its relationship with the town. At the Community Planning Weekend Report Back (given on 4 December 2018) it was announced that the first meeting of the Renaissance Forum would take place on 30 January. The Forum will be an opportunity to hear the latest updates about the Power Station regeneration and to discuss how the community can continue to be involved in shaping the future.

The Community Planning Weekend Report Back Presentation and the broadsheet that summarises the outcomes can be found under downloads at www.jtp.co.uk/projects/rugeley.

In the meantime, I look forward to seeing you at the Renaissance Forum on 30 January. if you would like any more information about the Community Planning process please contact me at community@jtp.co.uk or on 020 7017 1780.
